A member of our organisation- Geri took part in the Erasmus+ training course “The Butterfly Effect” in Poland during 27.07-07.08.2025. This project brought together changemakers from across Europe to learn, share, and co-create ideas for positive social impact.
The project brought together changemakers from across Europe. From the very first day, we built community through name games, group reflections, and co-creating the space together. We were inspired by stories of changemakers from around the world, from Peruvian coffee farmers to social enterprises like the Donkey Bakery in Vietnam.
Workshops such as Dare to Dream, Empathic Communication, and Deep Listening helped us explore our strengths, values, and the power of listening. We learned how to design and plan social projects using tools like SWOT and SMART(ER), and we practiced public speaking to share our ideas with confidence.
🦋🕸🌻Nature was also our teacher: reflections in the countryside, bike trips, and weaving a boat with locals connected us to the land and to each other.
In Łódź, we discovered local initiatives supporting communities and saw how small actions create real change.
Evenings were filled with sharing—poetry, music, games, discussions, and creative workshops that allowed everyone to contribute their passions. Together, we experienced how collaboration, creativity, and courage can spark transformation.
The Butterfly Effect reminded us that change starts small, but its impact can ripple far. Each of us now carries this experience home, ready to spread the effect further in our own communities.
